Sem meu irmão eu encontro dificuldade em fazer qualquer coisa. Um Século de Progresso ´o nome de uma exposição internacional e global que acontece em Chicago entre 1933 e 1934 para celebrar o centenário da cidade. O tema da mostra ´inovação tecnológica e seu mote ´: “Ela encontra, eles aplicam, ele concorda”, um símbolo arquitetônico, o Vale dos Reis na versão ” Sky Ride”, uma gôndola colocada em uma ponte pênsil construída para o evento. No pavilhão Europeu desta exibição tão abrangente, uma grande seleção foi organizada para celebrar o brilho do Sul no campo da historia e da ciência. Eu tenho que ir para lá, tenho que abrir este grande pavilhão. Mas o taxi, que me prometeu conhecer o endereço exato, me deixou e uma área residencial, confuso e sem sequer exigir que eu pagasse.
